Under Section 5(7) of the Rules, you also have the right to revoke your consent to the collection of your information going forward. However, please note that revoking your consent may negatively affect your use of the Platform. For instance, we need access to your mobile device’s media folder and camera so that you can click pictures from your mobile device and post them on the Platform, which functionality will not be available to you if you do not provide us such access. However, we require a reasonable period of 30 (thirty) days to comply with any of your requests. Additionally, for deleting your account from the Platform and removing user data, please go to the settings of your website/app/platform and click on the 'Delete Account' option.

13.Data Retention​

We do not retain your Sensitive Personal Information (defined below in this paragraph) for longer than is required for the purposes for which the information may be lawfully used. For any other content, we will entertain your request for deletion, however, there is a strong possibility that copies of any public content will be retained indefinitely in our systems, including in cached and archived pages of the Platform, or if other users have copied or saved that information. (Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011).

14.DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND JURISDICTION

It is expressly agreed to by the User that the formation, interpretation and performance of this Policy and any disputes arising here from will be resolved through an Alternate Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) mechanism. It is further agreed to by the Parties that the contents of this Section shall survive even after the termination or expiry of the Policy and/or Terms. In the event that the User is not satisfied with the resolution provided by “legaltitle.net” and there exists a dispute, then the said dispute will be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator to be appointed by “legaltitle.net”, and the award passed by such sole arbitrator will be valid and binding on both Parties. The Parties shall bear their own costs for the proceedings, although the sole arbitrator may, in his/her sole discretion, direct either Party to bear the entire cost of the proceedings. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the city of Arbitration shall be the city of Warangal in the state of Telangana, India. The Parties expressly agree that the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and any other agreements entered into between the Parties are governed by the laws, rules and regulations of India, and that the Courts at Warangal, Telangana (India), shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising between the Parties.

15.GRIEVANCE OFFICER

If the User finds any inconsistencies or has any grievances in relation to the collection, storage, use, disclosure and transfer of the User’s personal information under this Policy or any terms of “legaltitle.net” Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, etc. please contact the following: grievance@legaltitle.net

The Grievance Officer shall redress the grievances expeditiously within a maximum period of one month, from the date of receipt of a grievance.
